American Crew Holiday Gifting

These boxes were designed for American Crew's Holiday Gifting. The system includes three boxes, a bag and a matching booklet. The boxes are designed with two hits of black ink – one for the box and one to achieve the pattern. The labels and box names are printed with metallic ink.

Quiksilver Surf DVD

This B2B movie highlights Quiksilver's products, videos and brand evolution for 2010. The package is an off-the-shelf box wrapped with an uncoated post-consumer paper label. I always thought the plastic wrapper on dvds felt sticky and wasn't necessary, so the package omits it.

This is spec work.

Superglue Direct Mail for American Crew

This B2B direct mail for American Crew is a stylist-facing teaser for the launch of Superglue - a new product that gives nod to the rockabilly, Elvis inspired styles of the past.

Featuring a how-to DVD and an 85g product sample, the design has to stand alone, yet maintain a consistency across the American Crew brand. Since the look of this campaign is based off of the late 50's and early 60's, the photography is color treated, the type is hand set, and the paper is uncoated and dull.

Laced Up Shopping Bag

These bags were created for Laced Up, a trendy shoe store I believe existed while a student at Penn State. This project was one of the first packaging designs I produced. The one-color bag functions when in tow, or simply sitting on the ground.

This is student work.
